There's something incredibly satisfying about a meal that feels indulgent yet fits perfectly within a low-carb lifestyle. This lemon garlic butter salmon is my go-to when I want something elegant without spending hours in the kitchen. The salmon develops a gorgeous, golden-brown crust while remaining flaky and tender inside, perfectly complemented by the earthy snap of roasted asparagus.

The magic happens in the pan with the butter and garlic. As the butter froths and infuses with the aromatics, it creates a simple sauce that elevates the entire dish. It's a testament to the idea that high-quality, fresh ingredients don't need much help to shine. Whether you're strictly keto or just looking for a lighter, low-sugar dinner, this recipe hits all the right notes without any fuss.

Tips & Notes

  • Pat the salmon completely dry with paper towels before seasoning to ensure a crispy sear.
  • If your asparagus spears are very thin, check them at 10 minutes to prevent overcooking.
  • Use a cast-iron skillet if you have one; it provides the most even heat and the best crust on the salmon.
