There is something almost magical about a great tropical smoothie — it can transport you to a sunny beach no matter where you are. This Pineapple Breeze Smoothie is my go-to whenever I need a burst of sunshine in a glass. Frozen pineapple and mango give it that thick, frosty texture you crave, while creamy coconut milk rounds everything out with a rich, lightly sweet base that ties all those bright tropical flavors together beautifully.

What I love most about this smoothie is how effortless it is. Toss everything into the blender, hit the button, and you have a gorgeous, restaurant-worthy drink in under five minutes. It works equally well as a quick breakfast on a busy morning, a post-workout refresher, or an afternoon snack when the day calls for something a little indulgent but still wholesome. A squeeze of fresh lime juice at the end adds just the right pop of brightness that makes every sip feel incredibly alive.

Ingredients

  • Frozen pineapple chunks:2 cups
  • Frozen mango chunks:1 cup
  • Coconut milk (canned, full-fat):¾ cup
  • Banana:1 piece
  • Fresh lime juice:1 tbsp
  • Honey:1 tbsp
  • Fresh pineapple slice (for garnish):2 pieces
  • Shredded coconut (for garnish):2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Add the frozen pineapple chunks, frozen mango chunks, and banana to your blender.

  3. Blend on high speed for 60 to 90 seconds until completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash of coconut milk or water and blend again briefly.

Tips & Notes

  • Use full-fat canned coconut milk for the creamiest, most luxurious texture — light coconut milk works but results in a thinner smoothie.
  • If your blender struggles with frozen fruit, let the pineapple and mango sit at room temperature for 2 to 3 minutes to soften slightly before blending.
  • For an extra frosty treat, freeze the banana ahead of time as well — it makes the smoothie even thicker and more ice-cream-like.
  • Add a handful of baby spinach for a nutritional boost — you won't taste it, but the color will shift to a pretty green.
