Ingredients
- 1 loaf Baguette
- 4 medium Ripe tomatoes
- 1/2 cup Fresh basil leaves
- 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices and arrange on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 5 minutes until golden and crispy.

While the bread is toasting, dice the tomatoes and place them in a bowl. Mince 1 clove of garlic and chop the basil leaves finely. Add to the tomatoes.

Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the tomato mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine.

Once the baguette slices are toasted, rub each gently with the remaining garlic clove. Spoon the tomato mixture generously onto each piece.
