Shareable Banana Split Sundae Board

Banana Split Sundae Board
Build a crowd-friendly banana split board with pre-scooped ice cream, fresh fruit, warm sauces, crunchy toppings, whipped cream, and cherries so everyone can assemble a favorite sundae.
A sundae board turns the familiar banana split into a relaxed dessert everyone can customize. The classic trio of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream anchors the spread, while bananas, strawberries, and pineapple keep the flavors recognizable.
Pre-scooping the ice cream is the key to an easy serving moment. Freeze the scoops on a lined sheet pan until firm, then transfer them to chilled bowls just before the board reaches the table.
Arrange the toppings in small bowls around the fruit so guests can move naturally from ice cream to sauces and finishing touches. Keep the warm fudge and caramel separate from the cold ingredients, and provide long spoons for clean serving.
This generous board is made for an August gathering, but it is easy to scale. For a longer party, set out half the ice cream first and replenish it from the freezer so every sundae stays properly cold.

Directions
-
1
Line a rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper. Scoop all three ice cream flavors into individual balls, arranging the flavors in separate rows.
-
2
Freeze the scooped ice cream for at least 20 minutes, or until the outside of each scoop is firm enough to transfer cleanly.
-
3
Place the strawberries, drained pineapple, peanuts, sprinkles, and cherries in separate small serving bowls. Spoon the whipped cream into a chilled bowl.
-
4
Warm the hot fudge and caramel sauces separately over low heat for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring until fluid but not bubbling. Transfer them to heatproof pitchers or bowls.
-
5
Cut each banana in half crosswise, then split each half lengthwise. Arrange the banana pieces and strawberry halves around the outer edges of a large chilled board or platter.
-
6
Set the bowls of pineapple, peanuts, sprinkles, cherries, and whipped cream across the board, leaving the center open for the ice cream.
-
7
Transfer the firm ice cream scoops into three chilled shallow bowls and place them in the center of the board. Set the warm sauces beside the board so they do not heat the fruit or ice cream.
-
8
Serve immediately with sundae dishes and long spoons, inviting each guest to layer bananas, ice cream, fruit, sauces, whipped cream, nuts, sprinkles, and cherries.
